The Montreal Alouettes have signed former Kansas State standout quarterback Collin Klein to a two-year deal, according to Pro Football Talks Mike Florio. Klein went undrafted in the NFL last year following his senior season with the Wildcats. He was invited to the Houston Texans rookie camp, but was not offered a contract. He was a second-team All-American in 2012, as well as the Big 12s Offensive Player of the Year, a Heisman finalist and the winner of the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. Klein, 24, is the Alouettes second high-profile signing from south of the border in recent weeks. Former Pro Bowl wide receiver Chad Johnson signed with the club last week. Following the retirement of Anthony Calvillo, the Alouettes starting QB job is up for grabs with Troy Smith as the frontrunner.
