HOUSTON -- Houston Texans cornerback Kevin Johnson is out indefinitely with a foot injury he suffered Sunday night in a 26-23 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, coach Bill OBrien said Monday.OBrien said he did not know further details about Johnsons injury, but that he is not day-to-day. The Houston Chronicle reported earlier Monday that Johnson has a broken foot.Johnson only missed one snap in the game, but appeared to be limping badly after the contest. He also had surgery on his foot during the offseason.Johnson posted on Twitter on Monday morning that he will be back better than ever.Johnsons injury is a huge loss to the Texans secondary, which was without cornerback Kareem Jackson and safety Quintin Demps on Sunday.Cornerback Johnathan Joseph also left the game Sunday with a forearm injury. Johnson started for Jackson, and cornerback A.J. Bouye played in Josephs absence. But were just working one week at a time.He wouldnt look too far into the future as far as Geno Smiths status with the team, either, but gave every indication that the fourth-year quarterback would remain on the Jets roster this season.I would assume so, Maccagnan said.
