ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Denver Broncos coach Gary Kubiak made it clear Thursday that preseason games are going to matter -- a lot -- when he decides the winner of the teams quarterback competition.The defending Super Bowl champions are a week away from their preseason opener, in Chicago on Aug. 11. Kubiak said after Thursdays practice he wants to see how his three quarterbacks -- Mark Sanchez, Trevor Siemian and rookie Paxton Lynch -- handle themselves in preseason games before he makes a decision on a starter.I want to watch them play, Kubiak said.
