Both have been penalized due to a second positive test for a drug of abuse. Loe last pitched in the majors in 2013, splitting time between the Mariners, Cubs and Braves, going 2-3 with a 7.09 earned run average in 20 total appearances. He spent 2014 at the Triple-A level for three teams, combining for a 1-2 record and 7.51 ERA over 25 games. The towering 33-year-old right-hander holds a 34-43 overall record with a 4.49 ERA over 322 games for Texas, Milwaukee, the Mariners, Cubs and Braves over nine MLB seasons. Joyce, 22, hit .231 and collected 11 home runs, 13 doubles and 32 RBI over 53 games with Tri-City of the New York-Penn League last year -- an affiliate of the Houston Astros.
