Tallahassee, FL (Sports Network) - Jameis Winston had two touchdown passes and Karlos Williams ran in for two scores as eighth-ranked Florida State took a 54-6 win over Bethune-Cookman on Saturday. Seth Joyner Youth Jersey . Winston went 10-of-19 for 148 yards, while Williams totaled 83 yards on nine carries and Devonta Freeman had a touchdown and 112 yards on 10 carries for the Seminoles (3-0), who have won their first three games by a combined 131 points. "I thought we went in and did the things we had to do in order to win the game," said Florida State head coach Jumbo Fisher. "Still, a lot of room for improvement in my opinion. I think we have to clean some things up." Jackie Wilson and Quentin Williams combined to go just 8-of-17 for 60 yards and an interception for the Wildcats (3-1), who were coming off a 21-point win over FIU. "We played a good football team in Florida State tonight," said Bethune- Cookman head coach Brian Jenkins. "I thought we hung in there with them toe to toe for a while. We made some mistakes that they capitalized on and thats what good teams do." It was a 7-0 lead for Florida State around 6 1/2 minutes in as Telvin Smith picked off a Williams pass and took it 68 yards the other way for a score. The Seminoles received a 45-yard field goal from Roberto Aguayo with 2 1/2 minutes left in the first quarter for a 10-0 advantage. Following a safety when Bethune-Cookman was whistled for a holding call in the end zone, Winston and Kelvin Benjamin got together on an 11-yard score for a 19-0 advantage. It was 26-0 on Florida States next touch as James Wilder Jr. took the ball in from two yards out, and late in the half Freeman punched the ball in from a yard out to give the team a 33-0 lead at the break. Florida State needed less than 90 seconds to score on the opening possession of the second half as Winston hit Rashad Greene on a 19-yard score. The Wildcats finally got on the board on their ensuing touch as Wilson ran the ball in from seven yards out, the extra point was no good, though. Karlos Williams touchdown runs of three and one yard pushed Florida States advantage to 54-6 later in the third quarter. Striker Dario Mandzukic scored the opener in the 22nd minute but was given a red card nine minutes later for a reckless tackle and left Croatia with 10 men for the remainder of the match. After watching the Ravens yield 12 sacks and average a scant 64 yards rushing during the first four games, general manager Ozzie Newsome obtained left tackle Eugene Monroe from the Jacksonville Jaguars for a pair of draft picks. "Its a sign that this football team wants to win and we want to win now," defensive lineman Chris Canty said Wednesday. "Were not going to accept anything less than championship performance. Hopefully he comes in here and puts us in a better position to win." The trade had not been formally finalized by Wednesday afternoon, so Monroe did not practice with the team. But coach John Harbaugh expects the 6-foot-5, 305-pounder to immediately challenge Bryant McKinnie for the starting job at left tackle. "Obviously, were bringing Eugene in to play," Harbaugh said. "How soon that can happen remains to be seen. The main thing is, it makes us better almost immediately in terms of adding a football player of that quality to our team. Well just figure it out. Well fit it together to use these guys the best way we can." McKinnie was a key figure in Baltimores run to a Super Bowl title last year. Although hes struggled at times this season, the 12-year veteran is far from being the sole reason for the inadequate performance of the offensive line. Second-year centre Gino Gradkowski is still getting used to calling the blocking assignments on the line. And everyone up front is adjusting to Juan Castillo, whos in his first year as run game co-ordinator. But Ray Rice, who has a meagre 89 yards in 30 carries this year, openly questioned the determination of the offensive line. Asked how the line can match its performance of a year ago, Rice replied, "We have to match the other teeams intensity to be effective in the run game. Mike Wallace Jersey. Sometimes a guy wants it a little bit more on the other side. Thats what we have to do, we have to fight that. We have to match the other teams intensity." Right tackle Michael Oher wasnt quite sure if the problem with the running game rested solely upon the offensive line. "Theres not one thing that I can pinpoint," Oher said. "I guess we have to do a better job -- if we open a hole, open a bigger hole, stuff like that." Virtually nothing worked last Sunday in a 23-20 loss to Buffalo. Baltimore attempted a franchise-record low nine rushing attempts and yielded four sacks. Not only that, but quarterback Joe Flacco threw five interceptions, many of them while under duress in the pocket. Flacco is certain that a few tweaks, and not necessarily an overhaul of the line, would make things better. "Just little things. Cleaning up some little things up front," Flacco said. "Its nothing crazy. Just little things here and there that are pretty easily fixed. Im not really too worried about it." The Ravens (2-2) are going to need to buckle down up front to beat the Miami Dolphins (3-1) on the road Sunday. "We just need to keep working and keep fighting out there to get better," guard Marshal Yanda said. "The last game was a little tough. We kind of got away from the run a little bit just because we were down. Its just one of those things where we have to keep working at it. Theres no magical formula." Maybe not, but the addition of Monroe -- the eighth overall pick in the 2009 draft -- cant hurt. The 26-year-old could contribute as soon as this Sunday. "Hes strong, athletic, can move," Oher said. "Hes a very hard worker, hes a good player. Hes going to fit what were trying to do. It will just give the Ravens another option." ' ' '
