NEW YORK -- The Latest on Major League Baseballs deadline Monday for trades where players do not first have to pass through waivers (all times EDT):---5:40 p.m.The Toronto Blue Jays have acquired right-hander Mike Bolsinger from the Los Angeles Dodgers for right-hander Jesse Chavez and cash.The 28-year-old Bolsinger was 1-4 with a 6.83 ERA for the Dodgers this season. Hes also spent some time in the minors in 2016. Bolsinger made 21 starts for Los Angeles last year, going 6-6 with a 3.62 ERA.Chavez went 1-2 with a 4.57 ERA in 39 relief appearances for Toronto this season. He was a starter for Oakland the previous two years. The 32-year-old right-hander has 42 strikeouts in 41 1/3 innings in 2016.---5:20 p.m.The Toronto Blue Jays have acquired right-hander Scott Feldman from the Houston Astros for minor league pitcher Lupe Chavez.The playoff contenders made the deal Monday.The 33-year-old Feldman is 5-3 with a 2.90 ERA in 26 appearances for the Astros this season. Hes made five starts but has pitched almost exclusively out of the bullpen since the end of April.Feldman is 1-2 with a 3.65 ERA as a starter this year, and hes gone 4-1 with a 2.41 ERA in relief.The 18-year-old Chavez is in his third professional season, and this was his second with the Gulf Coast Blue Jays.---5:13 p.m.The NL Central-leading Chicago Cubs have added more depth to their bullpen, acquiring right-hander Joe Smith from the Los Angeles Angels just before the trade deadline.The Cubs sent minor league righty Jesus Castillo to the Angels on Monday.Chicago recently acquired closer Aroldis Chapman from the Yankees and reliever Mike Montgomery from Seattle.The 32-year-old Smith is 1-4 with a 3.82 ERA and six saves in 38 appearances with the Angels this season.
